In accordance with our understanding of the church as the body of Christ, we do solemnly declare the following as being the objectives toward which we believe God would have us move:

To be, through the power of the Holy Spirit, a fellowship of redemptive love in Christ.

To help each member to discover, develop, and use those gifts and abilities God has provided him to glorify our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

To enable (lead, guide) every member to become faithful and effective in worshipping, witnessing, learning.

To lead every disciple to be growing toward full Christian maturity, always seeking to know and follow God’s will in everything.

To give proper instruction and encouragement toward helping all members be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to them.

To make adequate provision for the spiritual growth and development of our children and youth, and to guide them in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord”.

To share the good news of the Gospel of Christ with every lost person in our community, and through our mission programs, with the entire world.

To always be sensitive to, and minister to, the needs of the special persons (i.e. the bereaved, the handicapped, the homeless, the lonely, and the unwanted).

To relate redemptively to other church bodies and Christian Groups, and to be cooperative when possible in joint efforts to advance the work of Christ.

To administer the church’s programs and affairs redemptively and efficiently.
